LinearThe help desk with a
native Linear integration
Ji4 is the support tool for teams whose engineering runs on Linear. It is the only part of your stack that closes the loop between a customer's email and the Linear issue that fixes it, in both directions.
A loop that closes itself
This is true two-way sync with a curated, customer-safe status, not a one-way export, and not raw Linear internals. Support stops chasing engineering, engineering stops answering the same question twice, and the customer always knows where things stand. It is the core of Ji4's shared inbox for engineering teams, and the same sync is what powers the customer portal software your customers see on their side.
A customer emails your support address
The message lands in a fast, keyboard-driven shared inbox your whole team works from. Email-first, built for software support.
One keystroke turns it into a Linear issue
Drafted by AI and ready to review, the issue is created in your team and project, and stays linked to the conversation.
Status flows back to the customer
As engineering moves the issue, Ji4 maps its state to a clean customer-facing status (under review, on the roadmap, in progress, shipped) and updates the ticket (agent view) and the customer automatically.
two-way: status returns to the customer, automatically
CSV export times out on large workspaces
Exporting our 12k-row board just spins and then fails. It has been blocking our Monday report all week.
CSV export times out on large workspaces
Repro'd above 10k rows: the export job hits the 30s timeout. Batching the query should clear it.
AI assisted drafting, plainly
When AI drafts a Linear issue, the ticket subject and the customer-visible message thread are sent to Anthropic, or to OpenAI as a failover; OpenAI also generates the embeddings behind duplicate detection and semantic search. AI drafting is available on every plan, including Basic, and is opt-in: an account Owner or Admin accepts a data-processing disclosure before the first draft runs. Ji4 does not use your data to train AI models.
Connected over OAuth, scoped and encrypted
You connect your own Linear workspace with OAuth in one click. Ji4 requests only the access it needs, issues are attributed to the Ji4 app, and each workspace's connection is isolated.

How does the Ji4 Linear integration work?
Connect your Linear workspace once with OAuth. From then on, one keystroke turns a ticket into a Linear issue, and as engineering moves that issue, Ji4 maps its state to a clean customer-facing status and updates the ticket and the customer automatically.
Does status really sync both ways?
Yes. This is true two-way sync: creating an issue links it to the ticket, and Linear status changes flow back to a curated, customer-safe status, not a one-way export and not raw Linear internals.
How do I connect Linear to Ji4?
You connect your own Linear workspace with OAuth in one click. Ji4 requests only the access it needs, issues are attributed to the Ji4 app, and each workspace's connection is isolated. You can disconnect at any time.
What does the customer actually see?
A clean, customer-facing status (under review, on the roadmap, in progress, shipped), never your internal Linear board. Customers always know where things stand without support chasing engineering.
Is the Linear connection secure?
Ji4 connects over OAuth with scoped access and isolates each workspace's connection. See the security page for our full data-handling posture.
Does Ji4 work with Linear's free plan?
Ji4's own OAuth connection is not tied to a specific paid Linear tier, unlike bundled Linear features such as Asks, which Linear itself gates to Business and Enterprise. That said, installing any OAuth app in Linear still requires workspace admin approval, and exact behavior can vary by workspace, so confirm directly with your Linear admin if you're on the Free plan, or ask us and we'll check for your workspace.
Does Ji4 work with Linear Customer Requests?
Yes, though they solve different problems. Linear Customer Requests tracks who's asking for what, feedback linked to an issue or project, while Ji4 is the conversation layer itself: a customer's email becomes the Linear issue, and two-way sync keeps status flowing back automatically. See Linear Customer Requests, explained for how the two fit together.
